Let’s Do This

I’m taking all the rules off. And for an enneagram 1, that’s really something.

For as long as I can remember, I’ve enjoyed writing but I haven’t always stayed consistent with it. Scratch that; I’ve rarely stayed consistent.

In the past, I’ve started a fashion blog. I enjoyed it for a while and then eventually, it just fell to the wayside. And then I started The Claire Collective back in 2022 and that was also when I relaunched Hoots Digital Marketing. I anticipated a slow build for HDM but it came on strong… and I’m really thankful for that. TCC also came with some technical backend challenges (because I thought I could handle WordPress but apparently it’s still the worst…). So even though I really enjoyed writing, it also had to be put on the back burner for a while.

So, I’m just going to write. When a topic inspires me, I’ll write about it and post it here. Even when it’s been a month (or 6) since I last posted. Even when the topics aren’t cohesive. Even when I have no idea if it will help someone else.

In other words — I’m going to get out of my head and use this as a way to foster creativity. I’d love for you to join me.
